Yes people, I is MW2-less. You can stop snickering now.
Since we’ve all been busy with the house stuff (have I mention that I hate moving?), gaming for me has been reduced to at most 20 minutes of Fallout a day. AT MOST! What the heck can I do in 20 minutes? I can’t even finish one round of looting and selling…Yes, cry for me please, because my tears are spent.
Plus, we’re trying to save up for renovation funds, so naturally, game buying is a nono. The last game I bought (well my sister bought) was Bishock and Ghost Recon. (which happened to be my first on-topic post hahahahaha(then again, what is the topic?)
So it really makes me mad when EVERYWHERE on the internet, people are talking about Modern Warfare 2. Gamespot(duh), Gamercast Network, Destructoid, Kotaku, Gizmodo, even on the many podcasts I listen to! It’s EVERYWHERE. There is nowhere to hide form this topic. Like when MJ passed away (may he rest in peace), it’s just sad.
Meh so this is just me ranting…I will get it when it becomes cheaper, seeing that I still have 50 more hours of Fallout 3 left. Plus Bioshock to be played. Or I can suffice with COD4 with my Mac. Many ways to REMIND MYSELF THAT I’M NOT PLAYING MODERN WARFARE 2 LIKE ALL THE OTHER COOL KIDS.

I was surfing the Gamespot forums when I came across the a thread talking about Modern Warfare 2

It’s one of those random web-surfing experiences, but I just found out that I had a Gamespot account all this time.
And it’s almost 5 years old.
You know, I bet the subconsciously muderous pie-loving part of me did it, because only he will come up with a name as dumb as Sliceofevil. Whoever wants to be only a slice? I want the whole thing dammit!
But upon the discovery I realized that it’s kinda cool to start off not as a newbie, so I ventured forth and pimped my profile, updated my game list and added a little psychotic rabbit here and there.
Then I went over to their forums, which was almost like anime expo – crowded and impersonal. Posted a few replies, but I can barely find my post within a mere 5 minutes because the threads stack up faster than a self-stacking stacker (if there’s such a thing). So I went back to the comfort of Resident Evil Fan forums and relaxed there. Gawd, the internet is big.
